    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Good year for Goldfinches

    Well it has been a good year in my garden for Goldfinches. I've had them visit before but the past couple of months they have outnumbered the other birds which visit mainly eating hearts and nyger, they even feed from a dish as well the feeders

    Love the middle one, superb detail.

    I've had about 12 on the feeders at once this year in various stages of growth. It's been nice watching them change from Chicks to Adults.

    Fantastic Babs. That's something that I don't see much of in my garden. I'm hoping that the Winter feeding will bring some in.
