    Default Feeder Station

Aldi as from today 22/10/09 are selling a feeder station for 10 quid and chrome plated (there really sort of plastic) feeders for 3 quid. One thing about the feeders is the fact that they have a very sensible top for filling. The feeders station is quite substa......quite substanti......its very strong.Over 7 feet in height 18 inches of which is "bashed" into the ground, it keeping the birds free from any nasties.

This is not an ad for Aldi. Just something I bought today.

and its quite ornimental. ( ohhhhhhhhhhh my spelling)

Yes, every autumn they carry some really good value bird feeders, great as it brings the idea to people who normally wouldn't otherwise consider feeding our little friends.

Good salesmanship Rolf but it helps. Its the tops of the feeders that impressed me. They actually slide up a fixed wire. No silly twist locks that the birds can undo as they hit the perches from different angles

They are doing a 12.75 kilo bag of mixed seed for £7.99, I got a bag today.

They didn't do it last winter which was a shame because my little birdy friends really seem to prefer it to most others.
