Default Feeding time at the madhouse.

Down by the lock some people leave food.
A woman arrived whilst I as there and as she started dumping her bag, she was surrounded. The geese who were up my end soon started running towards her. Those in the water jumped out and (demonstrated by the third shot) soon she was surrounded by pigeons, gulls, geese, swans, coots, and hidden to the right the mallards and hidden behind, one of the moorhens.
The fourth shot shows the moorhen as he keept to the edge of the melee and the last shows the complete pandemonium.

Yep, I've seen people run in fear of their lives when they've started feeding the birds at Caversham promenade.
