    Really sad, Beryl!

As it is a fairly rare and very expensive breed, might it have been stolen from a long way away and left there when the culprits found they could neither feed it nor look after it?

I don't see them often, but know there are a couple near us - mother and son I think! I hope that the police and the RSPCA find the owner - for one reason or another!

The thing is it cost nothing to have the dog put in a rescue program if you can't keep it.
    So cruel.
I hope they have bad dreams and loss of sleep and I hope they get caught

Yes very bad, but the good thing is that they found him and he's getting better. They are massive dogs and not many people have the money or the skill to own one, I guess with the publicity, someone qualified will come along.

I do hope so. I still think of the two Russian Blues I found that day in the Jubilee country Park car park.
How people that do that sort of thing can live with them selves I really fail to comprehend
