    These are nesting in the stables of the house at which I was working in Stanford Dingley Berkshire. Loveley area.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Thanks Babs, don't know about you, but for me, Swallows only ever seem to pose with a bright sky background, making photographing very difficult.

    To tell you the truth rolf, I have had very little opportunity to photograph swallows. We used to see quite a lot in Wales and every so often I get a flock of them high above my garden and also they swoop into the garden, think my pond has something to do with that. Only happens a few days a year but they are so fast it is impossible to take their photo. The few I have seen apart from the babies I took a few weeks ago have all been on the telephone wire
