Couldn't see any birds or wildlife to photograph, so took some snaps of a nice couple from Leicestershire, taking their narrow boat on the Kennet and Avon canal down to Bath.
The boats name was Ruth Reg.no.G14800 and a very nice boat it was too. :)

I wouldn't min living in a house boat. I had designs on living like that as a child.
When did you take that, yesterday? If 'yes' then that's a co-incidence since I was watching a boat going through a lock yesterday afternoon on the thames at Caversham Lock.
Apparently there are peregrines, redwings, sparrowhawks, foxes and minks. I saw ducks, rabbits a swan, some coots... and a few manically zipping-about swifts. It was very windy so maybe everything else was sensibly sitting in trees :)

I'm quite looking forward to going up to Yately. Matt can take me to some of the wildlife places round there .

Well, to be honest I wasn't there for long so I just walked along the riverside for a couple of km and back again. MY back was too painful to stay for long, and BOY did I feel it when I got back!
