New Celestron Digiscope
Picture is of my New (second hand) Celestron C65 Mini Mak (Maksutov-Cassegrain) 65mm Spotting Scope.
Bought frm Reading this morning, also got a Universal Adaptor for positioning of Camera.
A good 'First Digiscope' and not very expensive, for viewing Birds frm my Balcony, Wildlife and Astronomy and a better view of the far side of the lake at Lavells! :-lsanta

My old Digital Camera (Samsung V5000) not usable for Digiscope so today bought a Fujifilm AV130 from P C World. £54.00 - 3" Monitor Screen and am very pleased with results so far! :-lsanta
Picture is of a Street lamp about 100 yards distant.
Picture - Wood Pidgeon about 100 yards distant.

Having 'Paced' the Distance, found that both Pictures are nearer 80 yards distant :)

That's a good distance, will have to look at getting a camera for digiscoping, had been looking at a Ricoh, but the secondhand ones go for too much money, as they are popular for digiscoping. I have a little Casio, but the mount doesn't bring the centre of the camera lens to the centre of the eyepiece.

Finally got my little Ricoh camera for digiscoping, still need to make a better adaptor which is quicker to fit, but otherwise, it works OK.
These taken in bad light conditions at Hosehill lake today, around 160m to the central island, measured on Google earth, suitable as record shots.
