Tray of frogs!
This is the tray of plants I spoke about in my message earlier. I had put them in the tray to keep them watered as I wish to take them to my new home - wherever that might be!
But unknown to me, four frogs moved in too! I managed to decant two into my water feature where frogs are known to like it, one small one escaped, but this one was insisting on his ownership by having a sit in demonstration!

Brilliant Catherine.:) Perhaps you could take them with you. :)

Well, I would need to find a way of transporting 4 frogs and two hedgehogs as well!;)
- That is if I ever get to move now!:014:

Very good
Put the frogs in a plastic vivarium. I don't know how you could transport the Hedgehogs ........in a cat box I guess

It's very tempting, Beryl! Though the Hedgehog might be upset and miss home here!
I expect there will be others he knows in this area too.

Does he have a family, is there a nest near by if there is moving the adults could be fatal if there are young that you don't know about.
It is difficult. I don't know much about them but do hunt or watch to see if there is a nest
Good luck

When we moved here, Beryl, I found him in a football - size nest of grass against the side fence at the foot of some trees. He stayed in my Hedgehog house over the next two winters.
I took my Hedgehog house up to my son's recently so I will have it in my new home, and so the Hedgehog will know he has to make his own nest for next winter!
I was in the front garden, tidying up the very dry border next to the house on Tuesday when I found ANOTHER two tiny frogs hiding under the plants there. I managed to get one to jump into an old Tupperware box, and took him round to the plant tray where he could join others in the shallow water there! I have no idea where they all come from, but it's lovely to have wildlife of all sorts in the garden!:)

What a sweet story.
Frogs not sure about frogs. They tend to migrate during the day to dry land you see all the froglets and watch out when mowing the lawn and back in the water at night. Newts do as well I believe
