Ladybird Pupal stage
Unfortunately I carry a longer lens on the camera as that's better for catching the birds, so I couldn't get in close to this.
The first one was a pupae waggling up and down, but the second shot is the skin thrown off by an earlier one. I should have stayed and waited to see what it was going to do, but I was soooo hungry and I cold smell cooking in the air :)
There seemed to be a fair few on these nettles. I'll take a shorter lens with me tomorrow and see if I can get something better.

I carry a small pocket Fugi for close ups some times. Though My long lens cam switch to macro in a couple of seconds I still like to take a small camera
