Great series... until the end, and damned good music. I loved the fact that you didn't really know what was going on, so you could make it all up in your head. It's a bit like listening to the radio - because it relies on your imagination it gets as good as you want it to.
Talking of which, have any of you heard the radio comedy series "Old Harry's Game"? I think that it did 3 series and a Christmas special. It's about to start a new series on Thursday at 6.30 on Radio 4 (and of course you can always catch it on 'listen again'). It's about people going to hell. It could only be made for the radio as it's rather hard to them to reproduce some of the stuff that they have in hell !!! The last series wasn't so good because they were missing an actor who had died (I think) and it sort of lost its way, but they have replaced him with a new character who should serve the same purpose, and (being Annette Crosby) should do the job well. I found it hilarious and would recommend anyone to at least try it.

No. Haven't heard it.
Don't listen to radio much. Classic fm if the radio is on

Use your Sky + and record it. :)

Never seen Those. Watched Stargate and the series but not Alantice.
Don't know Black Dahlia. What is that about?
-
Don't know, haven't watched it yet, but it is a suspense story.
-
Oh. Did you record it?
The Omega Factor is to do with Psychic powers Telekineses,.psychokinesis, ESP and that stuff. 1979

I cant claim any credit for The Prisoner answer.Chocky triggered my mind with the Dangerman answer but I couldnt remember the name of the programme.
My freind came round as I was playing the clip and called out to me "I didnt know you were a fan of The Prisoner"
A three way effort I think Chocky LOL
-
No no. I can't claim any of the credit. I have the whole serires sitting here on my desk I could have cheated but I'm not like that. I just didn't recognize the lightning and thunder, well that is to say I couldn't remember . There now. I'm being completely honest. It has a good sides too. Some of the things wrere outrageous it is an OK series just that he couldn't find how to end it, It was really about him being a prisoner of Danger Man,
Any way well done.:acclaim:
Now we have to wait until Rolf can find some more:frustrated:
PS. I alas thought Pat McGoan wrote the Prisoner but it was written by Tim Moor
-
:poke2: Can we have a new tune please :biggrinbounce:
-
Just started to look for some, have been out on a roof all day. :)
-
That's not good enough.:13:
-
There is a song title in there somewhere in your last post Rolf . Most of us use a longish lens to get pics of birds that high up.
-
It's a Kenny Lynch song too I believe,:-lmao
-
LOL, yes, wish I'd had the camera up there with me, as while I was there a couple of Crows were mobbing a Red Kite, less than 15 metres away. :)
Right found one tune, try this. Mystery TV Theme Tune 132
-
Didn't you have a phone camera?
Don't know about this tune sounds American and police-ish
-
No, my PDA doesn't have a camera, but it would have needed a good camera anyway. :)
You are on the right track, sort of. :)
-
Lol. Now it depends on which direction.
It sounds fast and river-boat-ish
-
The police-ish and American-ish was right, add to that English-ish and you are spot on. :-lmao
-
Anglo American must be warm then
-
That could be interpol I suppose
-
-
-
I suddenly thought of International Rescue and then thought
Nooooooooooope. Not Thunderbirds.
Anglo-American police?
(That's a guess-ish):-lmao
-
Yes, that's definitely on the right track. :)
-
it surely cant be Stingray (anything can happen in the next half hour stuff)
-
Team America isn't it? World Police.
Do you watch South Park?
-
I think Stigray has a distinctive song and it's Starts off in a tropical tank with guppies and sword tail tropical fish. Lol
-
I know.
International Sea rescue?:D
BTW. Was it a flat roof ?
-
None of those. :)
No, not a flat roof, a steep tiled roof. :)
-
Oh. What an uncivilized place to be on a Sunday.
Oh well I don't know. I was guessing.
Now Which era are we looking at? Please
-
-
Is it a fictitious series or a docu-soap?
-
Fiction, anglo/american police action adventure. :)
