it was a delight to see these red deer today at leighton moss rspb reserve. there were three stags sat at ease on the edge of the reed bed. a hind was just to on side but sat in the reeds. she later came out for a stretch and a clean.

yes quite right. a freudian slip on my part. i had made afew errors that night whilst posting my other threads. i had asked rolf to correct an earlier post.
i had typed in stags and hinds ( red deer) rather than bucks and does ( roe deer) though why i posted them as roe is anyones guess. i was half watching tv as i was on't computer. apologies for my mistake, though it was merely a typing error and not an id one.
if rolf would be so kind as to correct this for me , thanks:)
