Photos from my Penthouse
Here is the view from my penthouse facing north.
First one is a long distance view at 300mm , the second is a zoom photo you can see the swans. It's not a crop it was taken at 70mm. The third is a little friend a Jackdaw who visits the trees opposite every day and some times sits the my roof just below my window and you can see him on the roof about to take off in the forth photo taken from my lounge facing West.
The last two photos being the plaque on the wall out side the lift to the apartments and the plaque on the wall out side and the house
I love my Penthouse apartment :-excited
Here is the history of the house

It's like a postcard from Exmouth Beryl, nice shots, envious of the outlook.:)
-
Thanks Rolf :) Yes it is nice.
I'll ad the view from the loo and the view directly in front of my lounge in my next post. I forgot about those :bang:
-
Great all-round views, Beryl, and I love the Jackdaw!:)
Reading the history of Chester House, I'd advise against the colour of light bulb you were searching for earlier - unless it is for historical interest only!:4-bounce:
Aren't you allowed to attach a bird feeder to the side of the window? Maybe not if it's a listed building...:(
-
Yes lovely views. The Jackdaw comes every day . I missed getting a good shot of him on the roof, I didn't have my big camera . He stood and looked at me for some 30 seconds whilst I chatted to him:)
Yes . Good reading . Lol
Nothing aloud to be attached to the building not even a Sky dish. Though I might be aloud one on the side if the direction is right. It would have to be by my Loo
Grade two listed and I would be inundated with Pigeons and Gulls if I put any sort of seed out
The photography on the History of Exmouth Site is that of Charmain Hall (Cherrybees) it is here own Web Site. She is also a member of this site

Ask your neighbour if you can take a feed off his dish on the chimney. :-rofl
-
My, you certainly are high up there! What amazing views all round!
With a good pair of binos or a scope, you could ID the waders in the river, read what's on the notice board and keep note of the score on the rugby pitch - and I'm not going into any other possible activities in Exmouth!;)
-
Yes the The Exmouth RFC
Exmouth RFC - Senior Rugby
Note the surveillance cameras each end of imperial Road
I could have a dish round the side by the Loo
-
Is that a security camera to the left of the tree - and another at the roundabout?
You should be really safe where you are!:)
-
Yes. They are all over Exmouth. One doesn't go out at night here unless with a companion :-hide
