south stack lighthouse anglesy
this is a view of the lighthouse on south stack anglesy. this is a lovely place to go bird watching.. or just a walk even. there is an r.s.p.b centre here.
you can see puffins here in summer and there are good numbers of razorbills, guillemots and other cliff dwelling seabirds. there is a path consisting of stone steps leading down the the cliffs.... its not so bad going down, but getting back up leaves you panting!!

puffins at south stack, anglesy
these images were taken at long distance, to add to this the lens on my telescope had come loose. the results are a bit poor really, but thought i'd stick them on anyway. the puffins are quite easy to pick out, on the rock face, as their 'bright orange feet' stand out very well. this little chap was just emerging from a hole in the rocks.... if you only manage to spot one it's worth it, they're such comical little things.
