I am not a big lover of horses, but there is something lovely about carthorses. Not far from here is the Shire Horse centre, and I loved seeing them there. They also had a couple of them at the Reading Beer Festival in May attached to a brewery dray... what else :)
Of course, I could have been imagining it:beer:
(that was supposed to be the beer drinking smiley... but it doesn't seem to wrok!)
Lovely photo, whilst researching my family tree, I discovered that when my father was young, my grandfather who was a coalman used to have Shire Horses.:)
