This morning o went to the Exe estuary. The sun was out and the sky was clear and it was a lovely day .
Then just suddenly the whole world grew dark and the wind whipped up into a gale and every thing was nearly blown away and the rain fell I had to take refuge in an arc of bushes. But this Heron just stood there and did a bit of preening then decided to tuck his beak in and wait it out.
He looked like a little old lady in here feathers. I had to cut the sound track because the wind was shrieking
