Not totally happy with this one but here goes......the elegent Great-crested Grebe in it's fine summer plumage.

I love how the young ride on the parents back of the great crested. Nice shots Pete:)

Heres another of the same bird, slightly different pose a little more 'full frontal'.

Amazing how these creatures become so beautiful in summer plumage compared to their far less attractive winter ones.

Thanks for the move Rolf and yes I did change the text but......I'm seriously loosing my credibility here Rolf......how do I change the title?......and you may be thinking of ordering me off the website for all I know!

You have to go into advanced edit Pete, but have done it for you. :) vBulletin is great software and it does a lot more than some other forums, but it can be complicated until you get used to it.

I'll just have to keep thanking you Rolf. I'll try to devise a way by which I just have to press a key which says 'Thanks Rolf'.
