Thread: Bird ID Please

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Bird ID Please

    I am fairly sure I have got the ID right but I wanted a second opinion. Do you think this is a juvenile Jackdaw. It has ben hanging around my feeders for the past couple of days, feeding from the fat in the hanging log.

    The head is definately black and the body a bluey black.

    Thanks for the ID rolf, I do struggle with the larger birds. This one was taken through my patio doors so I don't know yetwhether he/she will tolerate the camera or not.
