Took these pictures yesterday at Moor Green, I Didn't know they breed in October?
She is a beauty isn't she. I think they probably have two litters a year.(Not sure though)

It does sound late. I googled it and I found this from a council website:
"There are two breeding seasons each year. The first litters are born in late
February and March, after a gestation period of about 45 days. The
young, which are weaned at 10 weeks old, leave the nest (called a drey)
between April and June. The second litters arrive in June and July,
leaving the nest during August and September. They do not hibernate"
...which means that she rather on the late side :-)
