we have aman up here in preston who rescues owls, and is quite a celeb in our parts. he's aptly named 'barn owl bill.'
anyway as i said, welcome . you're bound to have a 'hoot' with us!!!
Thanke you all for your messages, i find time to get on my computer, and any thing else for that matter, whilst i have no baby owl,s it gives me an extra few moments to do what i want?, i will get pictures oif all my owls, my bubo is my fav,(snowy owl), but all of them are wonderful and love flying them all, every monday my weeks supply of food arrives and that is £70 of frozen rodents etc, old chest freezer broke down so i have to buy weekly, never mind i will find a second hand one soon, (i hope). Well thats my spare time over, up again, never ends do,es it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Clare - a little on the late side, but welcome! As for your freezer issue, have you heard of 'Freecycle'? In order to stop stuff going to landfill, people offer their unwanted stuff for free. Just 'google' freecycle and with a few clicks it should show you to your local group. I have picked up and disposed of a few things that way.
Well if you get a chance to take some pictures and upload them, you can start a thread here with them, which is a good starting point.
If you don't have a digital camera, I'm sure one of us has a pal who lives in Essex, who would be delighted of the opportunity to take some pictures of your Owls.
