Normally keeping to the edge of the world, these chappies are quite used to the hubbub of the town centre, meaning I can get a close-up without a big lens
Mind you, they just wouldn't go into the sun!
First one is a cracker Louise, you can see all of the feather detail.:0
That first shot is particularly good though.
I often think that Dunnocks, being rather drab in colour, are the most difficult birds to photograph, yet the lower light there has helped to show the detail of its feather patterning really well!
I agree with Rolf. The first shot is excellent with the plumage detail. Well done
