I was on the estuary today and suddenly the seagulls went crszy so I lookedup because that's what you do when the gulls really complane and yes, there was a Buzzard. rather high but you can seeit clearly
That one has no chest markings, is it perhaps a young one Chocky?
I'm told it is a pale phased buzzard.
I captured one a while back and some then said it was a pale phased. I think I will look it up . This one is tatty well they all look tatty but his wing is torn.

Have just looked on google and the adult common europien buzzard has a pale phase under wing

Thanks, There are certainly quite a few types of Buzzard, makes them very difficult to recognise.
