Hard to get a good shot of this, but I'm posting due to the fact that the fly-dinner now has maggots on it. I'm wondering if it was ready to lay when it was caught so that those are it's own little ones? Yeuch!!!
Yep, that's certainly pretty gross, but then again the spider has a starter and desert now.
More than that, she'd just wound up a long wriggly thing (the reason that it all caught my eye).... a 3-course meal
This is was initially caught my eye.... then she returned to her 'maturing' catch.
Nice, did you use the extension tube or the filters?
Neither - I just had to grab the camera, so it was with the long lens, and through the unclean windowpane... came out much better than I thought it would. Thank goodness for digital :-)
Yep, came out very well, result.
