New thread thumbnail display

Have installed this modification to enhance the viewing experience and I'm sure you'll all agree that it looks quite impressive when looking at one of the photographic sections.

The thumbnail generator will pick up the first image in a thread and display it in the forum thread list, or a thread search result. So if you do a search for Blackbird, it will pull up any threads with the word Blackbird in them and show the first picture as a thumbnail.

In order to make this work well for new or potential members when searching, it will be best if a separate thread is started for each species picture or set of species pictures, with a good individual picture of the bird/animal uploaded as the first attachment.


Obviously this is an ideal scenario and won't be appropriate if someone is posting photos of a trip or holiday.

Well we have an individual thread for holiday snaps don't we?

We have an individual section for those yes, but obviously if there are individual species, then it'll be nice to have them in their own thread as well.
