This is the second drop of a three drop waterfall at Keld.Keld is a small Hamlet set high in the pennines, in the Swaledale area
Nice Capture. Looks like a nice place to be
Great photo DD, what shutter speed did you use?
ISO 100 f4.5 and 1/15 shutter. The water was going at a fair rate of knots
It is a nice place Chocky. Its a fair old climb back out of the gorge (I had to do it in stages).Being on top of the Pennines the weather can change very quickly.
Nothing beats me . I could do it. Looks really great.
Some times I walk 4 miles apx to the cliff tops And although it's 4 mile back it seams like 6. It's up hill ( obviously ) going Lol and down hill coming back (would you believe) I go right past Orcombe point almost to straight point. Tremendously high. People are always falling to their death from up there. I keep well back. But it's a breathtaking view from the top
You certainly are a very fit lady Chocky. However the optimal word in my comment was "climb" (as in rocky bits). There is a fairly steep path a short way from where I was but if I had taken it, I wouldnt have got the angle to take the pic as I did.
Oh I can do that too. I used to be a dab hand at trees and roof tops . don't like sheer drops though That really scares me. Well it didn't but does now.
Wow that is one waterfall image most excellent
Now I don't do sheer drops or rocks, cows or bulls
If we climb high I don't look back. I have one of those walking sticks and it doesn't half help me up the hills and going over muddy parts. We did eleven mile this morning mainly up and down moor...................now I am at rest
