    Of the Speckledwood butterfly
    In the end they sat ans faced each other for about a minute then in the last photo you can see one flies off first. The other went a second or two after

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Thanks andy I guess that is why we say flared in anger as the true colour come out when one is angery.
    I thought one would get killed but they gave it up after a few minutes. I was lucky as the were fighting close to the ground.

    Yes . It is a speckled wood. Male I think not easy to tell apart.
