    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Nikon 105 mm Macro with VR Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos Nikon D7000 Nikon 17-55 mm F2.8

    A lovely set - it's always nice to see a family group reacting to each other. I've not seen the young 'uns before and was quite surprised - aren't they unusual? Zebra-ducks

    Do you think it may be Nature's way of putting off predators?

    If that's the case, I wonder what they are meant to mimic?

    If you look at the heads against the 'wavy' water they do sort of blend in.. so maybe that's it.
