    Default Photographing Garden Birds

    Hello,

I have started photographing the birds in my garden. I know that to get natural pictures you need to attach perches to the feeder. I have recently done this. But, what is the most attractive perch? I currently have one with moss on but it never stays on, how do I make it stay???
Also, any other general tips on how I can improve my chances of getting good garden bird pics?
    Many Thanks
    Alex

Thinking of putting some perches up myself Alex, but probably not attached to the feeders. Was thinking of obtaining some old tree branches, bout 6ft long and burying a foot or so in the ground, a couple of metres away from the feeders, perhaps with some hollowed out areas for home made peanut cake.
