Nice capture wildgoose, strangely enough, last time i saw one, it was keeping tantalisingly just out of range, you must have found a sociable one.

What a lovely capture wild goose, only ever seen these twice, once in Anglesey and once on the Mull of Kintyre, a very nice colourful image

Thanks. They are fairly common around East London especially scrub near the Thames.

nice shot of a handsome bird. did you know that you can attract stonechats closer to you by tapping two small stones together??? apparentlly the sound of the stones, knocking together, mimics the sound of a rival birds' call. the stone chat comes towards the noise of the rival 'bird', to defend its' territory. i saw bill oddie do this on one of his programmes and tried it for myself.... it actually worked!!!

Yes . I would Imagen. All birds are curious I often attract them with little noises, they come to see what it is too if they don't recognise it
