    Here us one of last yrears duclings now a proud mother of 8 ducklings
    You notice she has has 3 normal mallards and 5 leucistic. Itis a similar conditionto Abinism where the pigment lacks.

    Nice photo Chocky. ) I guess it will be unusual to have that many with the lack of colour?

    Yes it is unusual.
    he mother here is one of the duclikngs I photographed last year , there were 3 out of 7. this yea there are 5 out of 8 even the 3 that have colour are not in full colour.I hope they all survive. I tend to follow up on these ducks the other two year old ducks are in the brook, they cannot fly
