    Default Carrion Crow attack

A sad little episode early this afternoon, I heard a huge flapping commotion in the nearby Oak tree, with a Wood Pigeon flying in and out.

There was a dark shape in amongst the foliage, but I couldn't make out what it was, thought it may have been another Pigeon fighting over a mate.

Unfortunately it wasn't, it was a Carrion Crow attacking the nest and after a short while I heard a thump as one of the chicks hit the next door neighbour's shed roof from 30ft above, followed by another as the second chick hit it and bounced off.

The Crow left with nothing, unfortunately both chicks were dead.
