The page goes on to give information on the following:

Here is a page with information of most of the avian diseases and infections to look out for.

    It includes:

    Salmonellosis
    Colibacillosis
    Yersiniosis
    Pasteurellosis
    Chlamydiosis
    Trichomoniasis
    Warts (viral papillomas)
    Avian pox
    Aspergillosis

And how to minimise the risks of spreading the infection.

Avian Pox appears to be on the rise, have seen several photos around the web of Dunnocks and most recently a sparrow with an apparent infect.

This is a highly infectious disease and if spotted, you will need to take certain precautions to prevent the spread.
