    Default Young Starling

    This was a couple of years ago when I still had Starlings nesting in my roof end. I had the roof done and although there were still spots for Sparrows, the Starlings got ousted. I did plan to get a Starling box from the RSPB, but when I went to get them they didn't seem to sell them anymore. Mind you, I don't miss the poop trail underneath It's funny, but I have tons of Sparrows but they seem to spread it about, the Starling hold it in until they get to their nest and then 'Bombs away!!"

    They may be bigger, but I had one Starling nest, and 4 Sparrow nests in a row... surely that many Sparrows could match a couple of starlings? Or maybe Sparrows are just better house-trained :-)

    Res. Probably. They don't sit stil for as long as starlings.
    I don't know the answer to that on. May be they chuck it further.
