    Bet that surprised you all

    I have trouble tellig a blue tit from a great tit, yet I can recognise a hooded merganser when I see one

    Good job I have a mentor on this lovely site to keep me right

    I don't think you will see many Chocky, as they are not indiginous to the UK, I believe that they are North American.

    They probably have some specimen species there, as they do in many reserves.

    They are a beautiful bird though.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
