    Default Spot the Snipe

    Was in the hide at Lavell's lake this afternoon, but hadn't taken my binoculars and despite all of the help from two other watchers, I could not spot the Snipe on the far side of the lake.

    Well I took a photo anyway. See if you can spot him in the first picture.

    I didn't spot him, took the picture of where they said he was and only picked him out when I uploaded the photos to the computer. I did see him when he flew off though.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Must take my binoculars with me next time, I'm reluctant to leave them in the van though and when I'm leaving the house in the morning, it can be a little tedious taking out the drill box, two meters, camera and big lens, the Camera bag and then the binoculars.
