Thumbs up Chimney Meadows in Oxfordshire....

My hubby & I took a walk at Chimney Meadows in Oxfordshire yesterday..... we were infact the only 2 there!!! We disturbed a bird of prey when we got to a lock along the Thames.... on our return journey the same bird gave us a fantastic air display for a good 5-10 minutes....

After much internet searching it turns out we were watching a Hobby!

I haven't got the picture to post as hubby needs to re size it apparently.... we are knew to this camera business!!!

Just wanted to share my latest viewing with you!

lucky you jo, only ever seen a hobby once and that was at the wetlands centre in london. we do get them on passage at a local reserve, up here, in preston, though not been lucky enough to see one there.
