    His mother was close by and kept flying to another bush hoping I would follow . I did but couldn't get a good shot of her but here is her baby

    Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

    Cute bird Chocky - nice shots.
    Mind you, I think that it would look even better at a smaller size since the pixel quality is a little grainy. Sometimes less is more

    I'm a big fan of the smaller size - I rarely do mine larger than 800, and less if it's grainy
    ... it's much more forgiving than the larger sizes, especially when you are as shaky as I am

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    super shots beryl. last summer i watched two parent wrens with 7 young, flitting about in the hedge, at the side of my local canal. they were no more than 2-3 feet away from me as i stood still. brilliant
