    Default Nest boxes and cameras?

Hi everybody, I'm not too sure whether this post will be in the correct forum so if it isn't could the MODS please move it to wherever.
I am totally new to this hobby and to this board. I have been captivated over the last couple of months by the activity surrounding a couple of nest boxes I put up in the garden.
One had Great Tits ( we think ) and the other Blue Tits. Both boxes have now fledged and gone their merry way.
I did not think that such small creatures could catch and hold my interest in the way it did.
I would now like to go one better next year and install a camera in each box,
The trouble is that wherever I look for info it all seems to cotradict each other,
So! I'm wondering if anyone out there has fitted and run nest box cameras and your comments please on the pros and cons. ie, Buy a ready made set up or build own box and fit camera? what type of camera and is any make better than another?
Any info at all would be gratefully received and I look forward to replies. High Regards to all. BrianB.

Been thinking of doing the same for next year Brian, I may well buy a low light board camera like this one, then build a casing around it.

Many people use weatherproof infrared cameras, you can buy them for not very much money and mount them onto an existing box.

Hi Rolf Thanks for your response, Yes that's what I am tending to think about. the made up versions seem to be a bit expensive ( when you're on the pension )

    High Regards. BrianB.
