    It's looking really good, Beryl!

We've got 4 spare sets of lights now - though I think it would not be worth the cost of your journey to collect them - they'd be cheaper in the end in shops near you!

    Thank you Catherine
I have this set that plays carols and the lights flash with the beat and it can send you round the bend in 15 minutes flat. But they would wrap round the tree about 10 time You can turn the music off and then it has about 8 different sequences. I'll pop into the market tomorrow and get a short set

Well my tree now has lights but I had to turn them off because they made a blue glare on the photo.
Here is the tree with it lights off and the new sofa feeling quite at home. The footrest come up and the back reclines at the pres of a button. as Santa passes by the window

What a cosy scene for Christmas, Beryl!

I see the sofa is a 'relaxer' one too - good for falling asleep on in the nice warm room!

    Lol. Posh. About time....
Always fruit on the table. Just an apple left now until tomorrow

The fireplace is very nice but coming out after Christmas it's a waste of space and a focal point I don't need

I still haven't found the dial to my clock . It's on the fire unit

It wasn't UNtidy before, Beryl, but I know what you mean!

I agree with Paul re. the fireplace surround. Why not just change the 'fire' part? It looks so cosy there!

Counting the number of birds and cats I can see now...

No... I'll have to start again!

I'm looking out for an ornamental log fire that doesn't give off heat just has a light to make the logs look as though they are burning. They are very pretty .
What would be nice would be to have a artist to paint a 3 D fire place on the back plate. If you catch what I mean and it would then look like a real fire place with logs burning

    You mean ones like this?
Monet Wall Hung Electric Fire, 5023539540002

That would be nice! I think they have log burning effect ones too - and you need only have the light part working!

No. It's a free standing sort of great with artificial logs and a bulb that turns a whel inside so it looks like it' burning. There is no heater it is just ornamental and looks really nice
